Client Spotlight- 4 Spirits Distillery

We are honored to work with 4 Spirits Distillery, and spotlight their unique flavors and service in our community!

Located at 3405 SW Deschutes St., in Corvallis, 4 Spirits Distillery was established by Dawson Officer in 2011, with a mission to create superior craft spirits, while honoring all service members both past and present.
"We make each day an opportunity to honor, remember and raise a glass."

4 Spirits is named and dedicated to four combat soldiers that Dawson served with in the Oregon National Guard 2 Battalion, 162 Infantry Brigade: Lt. Erik McCrae, Sgt. Justin Linden, Sgt. Justin Eyerly and Sgt. David Roustum. These four men lost their lives in 2004/2005 serving in Baghdad, Iraq. There isn’t a day that goes by that Dawsom doesn’t see their faces and think about their loss. We will forever honor their courage and sacrifice.

The folks behind 4 Spirits Distillery are passionate about giving back to their community and local veteran services. A portion of the sales from 4 Spirits’ Bourbon Whiskey are donated each quarter to support local programs that help veterans and their families with reintegration support. 4 Spirits Whiskey is distributed in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Michigan and 10% of the proceeds from each bottle sold are donated to combat veteran reintegration programs throughout those states. 4 Spirits is also proud to have started the first ever combat veteran scholarship endowment at Oregon State University, and hopes to expand reach to other universities throughout the northwest.
The atmosphere at 4 Spirits is relaxed and inviting. The menu has a variety of delicious options to choose from and my personal favorite is the Veggie burger with shoestring fries, spicy ranch, and a mixed green salad on the side. 4 Spirits is a great location, with outdoor covered seating to safely gather with friends and family, to enjoy something tasty and maybe even a beautiful sunset.

Welcome Jennie!

I would like to take a moment to say "Hello" and introduce myself!
My name is Jennie Dalgas and I am the new Administrative Assistant here at Pacific Payroll.
As a former small business owner since 2009, I understand what an asset this service is to growing businesses. Keeping up with payroll, staffing, legalities and taxes is a full-time job, on top of running a business.
I am a birth doula, mother of two and pod-school teacher to three (5th and 6th graders this year). Prior to March 2020, I was the owner and director for Wonders Early Learning Center, a preschool/childcare program in South Corvallis. The pandemic put an abrupt halt to that dream, so it was time to reassess, and reconnect with family and priorities.
I am grateful for the opportunity to work with Holly and Shannon, supporting other small businesses, all while continuing to teach and learn at home.
I look forward to getting to know more about our clients in the coming weeks. Thanks for your patience as I learn the ropes, and for welcoming me to the Pacific Payroll Team!

Heartland Humane is a local, not-for-profit animal welfare organization, serving the pets and families of Benton County and Corvallis with lost-and-found pet services, low-cost adoptions, animal welfare programs, and humane education.
The open-intake shelter is located at 398 SW Twin Oaks Circle, Corvallis, OR 97333.

"Founded in 1966, our mission is to build a more compassionate community by teaching humane messages to our youth, caring for homeless animals and strengthening the human-animal bond.
